CERAMIC POTTERY by Ayjay, Sharon & Ian
Ayjay works from his home studio, where he has his wheel and small electric kiln. He uses a variety of glazes, many of which he makes up himself. These glazes are mainly applied by spraying.
Some of Ayjay's pots using various different glazing techniques.
Sharon throws pots on her wheel at home and also at the High Ridge Pottery in Bransgore, using combinations of brush-on glazes to finish the work.
Dipping bowls and a posy vase from some of Sharon's latest work.
Ian has a wheel and electric kiln at home, where he can throw and glaze his work. He also produces work at the High Ridge Pottery and uses mainly brush-on glazes for the final results.
